Film - Independence Day: Resurgence Trailer

We always knew they were coming back. After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens' advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

Set 20 years after the original film (handy, since it is coming out 20 years after the original film) several of the original cast members, such as Bill Pullman and Jeff Goldblum make the resurgence (sorry) along with the original director Roland Emmerich. Other cast members include Liam Hemsworth, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe and Sela Ward.

The film is due out as a summer blockbuster on 24th June 2016 so we also have a long time to prepare (although not 20 years) but let us know what you think of the trailer in the comments below.
