#NotBaconBits - From Dusty Springfield to...

Yesterday we played Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield. So what song was chosen for today's #NotBaconBits connection? Blame @STBwrites ...

As always for #NotBaconBits, once you've listened to today's choice, we're looking for your suggestions for tomorrow's track. Join in by tweeting us @albiemediaAM with the #NotBaconBits hashtag or adding your suggestions in the comments of our #NotBaconBits Facebook posts - remember the link can be as simple or contrived as you want, in any music genre (it doesn't have to be classical or pop) and you can link to anything about the song - the title, the artist, words in the song, something about the video ... anything as long as you can explain how you got there and show your workings. If we pick your suggestion for the link, you'll get the credit in that day's article and shout outs on our social networking streams.

Oh you lucky, lucky people. Thankfully we got several good suggestions for today's #NotBaconBits connection, otherwise we would have had to inflict @OmandOriginal's link choice on you which was this...

"The first line of Son of a Preacher Man is 'Billy Ray was a preacher's son...' and we all know that the best music-themed Billy Ray is Billy Ray Cyrus, so let's play Achy Breaky Heart!"

Er... let's not.

@WolfPaw36 had a much better thought - "Son of a Preacher Man featured in Pulp Fiction in a scene just before the Travolta/Thurman dance competition with music by a son of a preacher man ( well, a deacon) Chuck Berry, so here we are... You Never Can Tell"

But we're going to go with @STBwrites (albeit tenuous) suggestion today - "The problem is that Dusty came from London so she didn’t understand what The Dream Academy was going on about when they described Life in a Northern Town..."

Now it's your turn. What will you link to for tomorrow's song? Dreams? School? The North? Something else? The choice is yours, as long as you can show your working and tell us how you get there!
