#NotBaconBits - From Prefab Sprout to...

Yesterday we played Cars and Girls by Prefab Sprout. So what song was chosen for today's #NotBaconBits connection? You can thank @TokenNerd for this one...

As always for #NotBaconBits, once you've listened to today's choice, we're looking for your suggestions for tomorrow's track. Join in by tweeting us your suggestions @albiemediaAM with the #NotBaconBits hashtag or adding your suggestions in the comments of our #NotBaconBits Facebook posts - remember the link can be as simple or contrived as you want, in any music genre (it doesn't have to be classical or pop) and you can link to anything about the song - the title, the artist, words in the song, something about the video ... anything as long as you can explain how you got there and show your workings. If we pick your suggestion for the next song link in the chain, you'll get the credit in that day's article and shout outs on our social networking streams.

There were definitely some fab [Prefab? - Ed] suggestions for songs to link to yesterday's #NotBaconBits song. @JimJamGin took a step back and then a slight sidestep before pirouetting [this isn't Strictly - Ed] in to suggest The Byrds' fantastic version of Turn Turn Turn and @Wolfpaw36 picked up on the sprouts connection with Brussels superstar Plastic Bertrand's "Ça plane pour moi". But today's winner is @TokenNerd who picked up on the Prefab Sprout album name and said:

"It maybe a little on the nose, but if you're going to Memphis, surely Paul Simon's Graceland is the next logical step? Can't do Memphis without goin' to Graceland."

So that's where we're going with today's #NotBaconBits song...

Now it's your turn. What song would you link to that one? Something more from Paul Simon? Maybe a link to Elvis? Amazing Grace?? [objection, leading the witness - Ed] Let us know today and we may pick your #NotBaconBits connection suggestion tomorrow.
