The cat with a really big head

Titan Books announce that two cult comic books are being presented in one graphic novel at the end of the month...

For the first time ever Roman Dirge’s cult classic comic books The Cat with a Really Big Head and The Monsters in my Tummy are brought together in a beautifully bound hardback graphic novel.

The Cat with a Really Big Head

This is the tragic story of a cat called Cat and his stupidly enormous over-sized head as he struggles with day-to-day problems like coping with hairballs, trying to eat Chunky Beef Chunk With Beef cat food or dealing with the neighborhood mouse, Mr. Stinky and his army of annoying mice. Life hasn't dealt Cat a good hand, but still there's always the prospect of reincarnation and a better life isn't there..?

Monsters in my Tummy

Ever wonder what madness happens inside you during times of severity and heartbreak? Does it feel like a war is being waged in your stomach? What if your emotions were tiny little creatures, battling it out until the final round of Esteem VS Betrayal? Anyone who’s ever been crushed by a loved one will instantly be able to relate to this inner saga.

Roman Dirge is an American comic book artist and writer who briefly quit art to become a full-time magician. His artistic tendencies remained and in 1992 he created his much loved character, Lenore for the San Diego alternative magazine Xenophobe. Five years later he launched Lenore to the US market where it has since gone on to become a publishing phenomenon inspiring animated shorts, merchandising, video games and art books.

Roman’s other works include Something at the Window is Scratching, he also co-wrote the cult animated Nickelodeon television series Invader Zim.

The Cat with a Really Big Head is due out on 30th June.
