TV - Game of Thrones Season 7 Teaser

The dragons return as the Season 7 premiere date for Game of Thrones has been announced along with a new teaser trailer...

One does not simply waken at 2 am...

Set your alarms.

Following a record-breaking sixth season, which culminated in Daenerys setting sail for the Seven Kingdoms, Jon Snow dubbed King of the North, Cersei seizing the Iron Throne and the Night King amassing forces, Season 7 promises a brutal, bloody and wintry return to Westeros.

The new season of Game of Thrones will simulcast weekly at 2am from 17th July on Sky Atlantic and online streaming service NOW TV, followed by a repeat at 9pm the same day for those of us willing to try and avoid social media spoilers for THE WHOLE DAY.  And, if you want to plan ahead, you need to start your 6 season, 60 episode, "episode a day" binge watch on 17th May - but who's counting?

The date was announced in a Facebook Live event which saw 1.9 MILLION people tuning in to literally watch a block of ice melt for almost an hour. But then they were rewarded with this teaser trailer.

Game of Thrones Season 7 premieres exclusively on 17th July on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV at 2am, repeated at 9pm on the same day.
