Christmas in July - Deck the Halls

Susan Omand hates Christmas. So she thought why wait until December when the weather is rotten, shops are crowded and kids are annoying when you can get the "joy" of Christmas all over and done with in July - also when the weather is rotten, the shops are crowded and the kids are annoying...

I am well known around the AlbieMedia office for being a bit of a Grinch when it comes to Christmas. I just can't be doing with all the stress and fuss, the tinsel, the shopping, the wrapping, the parties, the fancy food, the family visits. Bah humbug!

However...

There is ONE thing that I do actually like about Christmas and that is the music. So I guess you can blame our very own Monday motivator David Ames for me deciding to do Christmas in July instead of waiting till the shops start their own festive stuff (normally in September.) Why is it his fault? Because he let me hear his brilliant versions of well known Christmas songs that he has recorded when it's nowhere near the festive season. So for this week and this week ONLY (forget about the December thing, guys - it ain't happening) we're calling it Christmas on AlbieMedia so put on your paper hat, grab a glass of egg-nog and Deck The Halls like they have never been decked before thanks to the hugely talented David Ames.
